You will serve as a IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Cyberspace Operations-Integrated Planning Elements (CO-IPE) Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) Detachment. of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.

Duties
You will serve as expert planner, provides advice and assistance to JFHQ-C in the design, planning, and assessment of cyberspace concepts, objectives, and formulation of supporting plans, including Special Technical Operations..
You will plan and develop cyber operations plans to satisfy cyber operations requirements within a specifically defined geographical or functional area of responsibility.
You will participate in the integration of cyberspace operations in exercise design and building cyber-related events.
You will serve as a command/organizational representative at conferences, briefings, exercises, planning evolutions, and meetings
Requirements

- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position is not telework eligible.
- The incumbent may be required to perform Temporary duty travel (up to 50%) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework role of 332- CYBER OPERATIONS PLANNER proficiency level ADVANCED.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
You are required to have information technology (IT) related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:

4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, you are required to have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: planning, coordinating, integrating and synchronizing and directing defensive cyberspace operations; resulting in developing improved operational results, methods and policies.

Education
At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
