You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the International Cybersecurity Capacity Building Branch of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will ensure partner nations have cyber defense capabilities through the capacity to build and sustain a Cyber Defense program, a capable workforce, and the capacity to share information.
You will manage the oversight of Cyber Defense Information Exchange Memorandums of Understanding.
You will be responsible for providing oversight for implementing and executing a cyber public private partnering program.
You will exercise the full range of managerial and supervisory authorities, to include overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely
execution of the program.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 752, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: 1.) Ensuring partner nations have cyber defense capabilities through the capacity to build and sustain a Cyber Defense program, a capable workforce, and the capacity to share information; 2) Managing the oversight of Cyber Defense Information Exchange Memorandums of Understanding; 3) Providing oversight for implementing and executing a cyber public private partnering program; and 4) Exercising the full range of managerial and supervisory authorities, to include overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely
execution of the program.
