Duties

Serve as subject-matter-expert for new employee programs, Army Acquisition Workforce (AAW) programs, and Career Developmental Employee (CDE) programs in workforce development. Advise on new employee, AAW, and CDE training requirements, workforce development and related matters to meet the business needs of the organization. Develop strategic plans, policies, training, and procedures to welcome new, acquisition, and career development employees to develop their awareness of the command’s culture, mission, and core values. Coordinate and schedule student practical exercises for new employees, AAW employees and CDEs to promote positive work environments and change strategy and management. Manage all aspects of education, training and reporting processes within assigned organization to include requests for Career Acquisition Personnel and Position Management Information System (CAPPMIS) access and instructional methods and techniques. Conduct assessments of training needs and formulate training agreements.

  • Successfully complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.
