About the Position: This position is with the 80th Training Command (TASS), Tobyhanna Regional Training Site-Maintenance, 2 Brigade, 102 Division located at Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania.

Duties

Counsel the unit on tactics specific to the mission. Optimize unit training programs through evaluation. Oversee various learning programs related to the organization’s needs. Guarantee facility operations are managed in conjunction with current regulations. Implement internal auditing controls in support of the annual budget for the unit.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes 1) Coordinate training content to meet customer and student needs. 2) Analyze training material to ensure instruction is given in accordance with the lesson plan. 3) Research updated course material and equipment to identify changes. 4) Understand quality assurance as it relates to accreditation standards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
