About the Position: You will serve as the Senior Logistics Management Specialist and Technical Advisor for the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering (G4), Joint Force Headquarters - National Capital Region (JFHQ-NCR)/Military District of Washington (MDW). Responsible for developing logistics support programs and concepts for JFHQ-NCR/MDW and its subordinates.

Duties

Develop plans for the reception and integration of deployed forces to support local operations orders and directives. Participate in the work of the team, and coach in the selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques. Coordinate movement plans to insure a synchronized flow of troops and equipment in support of operational plans. Represent all logistics matters senior level functional Department of Defense (DoD) and interagency steering committees and planning councils.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
