About the Position: This position is located at Fort Leslie J. McNair, Washington, D.C. Incumbent will serves as a senior G/J 4 Planner responsible for logistics support planning, operations and exercises. Primary responsibility consists of developing contingency logistics support plans for supporting military and ceremonial operations for the Military District of Washington and the Joint Forces Headquarters - National Capital Region.

Duties

Direct and control the execution of plans during mobilization, contingency, emergency, and joint operations and exercises, Participate in short, mid, and long range resource planning. Prepare operations, exercise, conference and meeting after action reports.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Incumbent may required to work overtime on an emergency basis.
  • Temporary travel may be required 10% of the time.
  • This position is designed Key and considered mission essential as work performed may directly bear on the functions and operations of the command.
