About the Position: Serves as Senior Executive Assistant to the Director Center for Army Analysis (CAA). Provides expert guidance to Director relating to policies, priorities, practices, protocol, and procedures assuring smooth and efficient operation of assignments, located at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Duties
Serves as Senior Executive Assistant to the Director Center for Army Analysis (CAA).
Provides expert guidance to Director relating to policies, priorities, practices, protocol, and procedures assuring smooth and efficient operation of assignments.
Provides expert guidance and assistance to the Director and staff personnel regarding mission related functions and action items.
Participates in meetings and other special events conducted by or on behalf of the Director.
Maintains the Director's calendar.
Maintains a task tracker and assigns actions based on the function of each division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.
- Tentatively selected applicants will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug testing as a condition of employment.
- Performs TDY travel in accomplishment of the duties of this position up to 25% of the time.

Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising staff and leadership on program operations; providing recommendations to resolve sensitive operational problems and issues; participating in meetings and other special events conducted by or on behalf of the Director; and coordinating task tracker/actions based on the function of various divisions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
