About the Position: Serves as an Management Analyst, G8 Resource Management Directorate, Manpower & Force Analysis Division at HQ IMCOM located in San Antonio, TX.
Duties
Knowledge of manpower management for (military, civilian and CME) manpower requirements, allocations and policies and procedures, concepts, objectives, and source documents pertaining to the PPBES to maintain the integrity of manpower resources.
Ability to apply a wide range of analytical, qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and changes to manpower requirements and authorizations to the budget process.
Incumbent considers the impact of decisions on high visibility and controlled manpower programs (e.g., AMHA, NFIP, SOF, and military technician).
Contacts on a daily basis include key force management, personnel management, and budget and program analysts in Army Staff agencies and in assigned Regional Offices/Installations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience working with manpower allocation policies and procedures; developing manpower models, manpower studies, and Requirements Determination issues; preparation and development of the Army Program Objective Memorandum (POM). Experience developing audit trails for databases using OSD/Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution systems (PPBES) program; implementing budget guidance and overseeing an organization's resource management activities.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
