About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Trains and facilitates the use of collaborative tools and data systems to complete work.
Develops recommendations to resolve complex problems involving the effectiveness and efficiency of KM work operations.
Monitors command operations execution while identifying potential problem areas and shortfalls. Recommends and directs corrective actions to identified execution shortfalls.
Reviews cyber initiatives to ensure that proposed actions comply with previously approved plans and are technically sound.
Oversees implementation of solutions to include development and evolution of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures for long term implementation.
Ensures global net-centric solutions are in direct support of the full spectrum of military requirements and operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI).
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
- Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 5% of the time.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. Executes the five steps of the Knowledge Management (KM) process, identifies and resolves knowledge gaps, provides input to the core team to resolve Knowledge Management (KM) issues, advises staff on Knowledge Management (KM) solutions, develops techniques and procedures to support unit learning throughout all phases of the operations process, advises the unit on using Knowledge Management (KM) processes and tools. 2. Develops recommendations to resolve complex problems involving the effectiveness and efficiency of Knowledge Management (KM) work operations. 3. Provides advice and recommendations regarding how Knowledge Management (KM) improves shared understanding throughout the organization. 4. Assists in the development and implementation of ARCYBER policy and program guidance governing the implementation and execution of Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), in concert with Army Knowledge Management (KM) and/or other DOD agency initiatives.
