About the Position: Serves as a Project Coordinator (PC), with the responsibility for facility condition assessments, planning, scoping, development, and direction of important military and civil works projects.
Duties
Serve as Project Coordinator, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned Projects.
Monitor engineering and construction project reviews to ensure reviews are tracked and maintained as scheduled ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and regulations.
Prepare written reports or memorandums that detail engineering or construction project assessment and/or inspection findings.
Track engineering or construction project performance that includes personnel allocation, baselines of scope, schedule, cost and resource requirements to ensure the project is within cost and time limitations.
Prepare engineering or construction project data that includes schedules, costs, and resource requirements in order to track project's performance and status.
Implement engineering or construction project techniques such as scheduling and creating work breakdown structures in order to efficiently and effectively manage national programs/projects.

Specialized Experience: . I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level in the Federal Service which includes experience performing two of the following duties: 1) Develop strategic plans for project execution, AND 2) Track project milestones to ensure project requirements specifications are met, AND 3) Prepare project reports for senior leaders and customers.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
