Duties
As a Public Health Analyst you will:
Contribute to the accomplishment of CDC's global health goals by sharing knowledge, tools and the execution of sound management and financial policies;
Serve as the primary liaison between CDC Overseas Country Offices and CDC/CGH Headquarters to provide leadership, support, and coordination;
Coordinate management support to CDC overseas posts on staffing issues, budget review, management of grants and Cooperative Agreements (COAG's), Inter-Agency agreements, contracts, and other management issues;
Improve efficiency and clarity by providing consultation and technical assistance in the development of infrastructure budgets and cost allocation methods as well as providing validation of the cost allocation execution process;
Provides overall management review of co-location waiver requests for new or expanded CDC facilities overseas to ensure agency interests are protected.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-15 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, which must include the following experience: provide leadership in analyzing the effectiveness of management operations of overseas operations of a public health program.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
