This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Engagement Strategy and Policy (ARA-200) Division, Office of Policy, International Affairs and Environment (APL), National Engagement and Regional Administration (ARA). The position reports to the Manager, National Engagement Strategy and Policy Division (ARA-200).
Duties
The position is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the FAA’s initiatives focused on empowering FAA employees, other federal entities, and industry by offering policies that deliver innovative and practical solutions for community engagement efforts. The incumbent performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on significant work activities or as a project manager or team leader for large projects/programs/activities.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Travel Required: Occasionally (15%) (Domestic Only)
Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE IS DEFINED AS:Experience utilizing analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess program development.Experience communicating with individuals inside and outside the immediate organization to obtain information, share information, answer questions, provide briefings, and resolve problems.Experience in community engagement efforts.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
