About the Position: Serves as the senior technical authority and program manager for the personnel security, which consists of the integration and enhancement of suitability, fitness, and credentialing and all sub-component security activities: national security investigations, continuous evaluation/vetting, incident reporting, and security clearance eligibility.

Duties

Directs the development, implementation, and operation of an integrated personnel security and suitability program to protect Army personnel controlled unclassified and national security information. Provides planning advice and recommendations to top-level Department of Army (DA) and command officials regarding new policies and provides resolution of complex personnel security and suitability matters. Responsible and accountable for supervising and coordinating suitability, fitness, and credentialing adjudication for The Office of the Surgeon General and MEDCOM (OTSG/MEDCOM).

Requirements

  • Drug Test is required
  • Up to 25% TDY is required
  • Able to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within the first two years of employment is required
