This Management & Program Analyst Position is located in the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), National Security Division (NSD), Office of General Counsel, Office of the Director of Training and Workforce Development in Washington D.C. The Office of the Director of Training and Workforce Development manages a variety of training programs for NSD employees.

This position is responsible for working with a small team of attorneys to ensure that employees receive the training, resources, and support they need to effectively perform their jobs and the professional development they need to enhance their future careers. Also, this position will also serve as the Administrative Liaison, providing administrative support to the Office of General Counsel (OGC).
This position will perform duties such as but not limited to:
Working with the Director of Training and Workforce Development to set program plans and goals in consideration with current objectives and resources.
Actively tracking training needs and completion for employees across the National Security Division.
Providing advice to managers in formulating and implementing short-term and long-range program plans and direction addressing operational and resource issues.
Developing new methods for coordinating the administrative work of a complex organization with disparate organizational segments requiring complicated administrative controls to accomplish the work of the organization.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Management and Program Analyst at (GS-0343-13), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
To Qualify for the GS-0343-13 Management and Program Analyst position you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Assessing program effectiveness to make recommendations for the purpose of improving the effectiveness of programs and operation. AND
Managing database systems to ensure agency timelines and objective are met.
