You will serve as the Environmental Planning Program Manager in the Fleet Environmental Readiness Division (N465) within the Fleet Civil Engineer Directorate (N46) of COMMANDER US PACIFIC FLEET.
Duties
You will collaborate with marine species and natural resources Program Managers, Environmental Compliance Managers, as well as other supporting organizations.
You will prioritize projects and oversee service providers to ensure progress towards meeting goals.
You will coordinate with supporting service providers and financial analysts to budget for current and future environmental projects across multiple fiscal years.
You will present budget briefs and provide justification to defend budget positions.
You will act as a subject matter expert during the creation of Navy policy, guidance, and directives.
You will draft and propose changes to DoD policy, instructions, and guidance relevant to COMPACTFLTs Environmental Planning Program.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector participating in developing and overseeing an Environmental Planning Program, performing budget analysis and planning, supporting training and/or exercise schedules, or creating solutions to program issues to ensure compliance with strict environmental laws and regulations.
