You will serve as a Distribution Process Worker Leader in the PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DEPT (63) of NAVSEALOGCENKYPTDIVNUWC MECH PA in Crane, IN.

Duties

You will serve as working leader over three or more employees in accomplishing trades and labor work. You will ensure work is accomplished properly and efficiently. You will convey instructions, policies, and procedures to workforce as directed by supervisor via oral or written communication. You will distribute and balance workload to improve workflow and accommodate unexpected work surges. You will keep supervisor abreast of work progress, causes of delays, overall work operations and problems. You will spot check completed work for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. You will orient and train new employees.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current forklift certification within 90 days of employment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
