Duties
Plans, develops and implements policies and procedures relating to the accounting for fiduciary assets held by the Copyright Office on behalf of copyright owners. Directs and oversees financial management and reporting, financial controls, investment of funds, and financial statement preparation, ensuring that the Fiduciary Accounting Section complies with all applicable federal financial management requirements and Library of Congress directives, policies, and procedures. Provides review and oversight for preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, footnotes, reports and other miscellaneous supplementary disclosures reports. Leads and participates in audit walkthrough meetings concerning the Fiduciary accounting policies and standard operating procedures. Ensures development of documents required for the Library’s annual Fiduciary Financial Statement audit.

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Ability to supervise and/or lead and develop a diverse workforce**
