You will serve as a Administrative Assistant (OA) of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.

Duties

You will prepare and review written correspondence and reports, proofreading and editing for grammar, spelling, capitalization and format. You will review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, materials, publications, regulations, and directives You will receive calls, greet visitors and refer to the proper point of contact as necessary. You will maintain supervisor's calendar, coordinate meeting arrangements and schedule meetings and/or conferences.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, or abilities to perform successfully the duties of the administrative support assistance position such as performing a full range of procedural duties in support of the office, preparing routine reports from information readily available from files, scheduling and making arrangement such as meetings and/or travel, and performing office automation support using multiple automated programs and software such as databases, spreadsheets, and graphics in support of the administrative and clerical work. Example of specialized experience include; 1) preparing a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports, and other documents, 2) review and process incoming and outgoing correspondence, material publications, regulations, and directives, 3) receive telephone calls, greets visitors, and ascertains the nature of the calls or visitors.
