This position is located in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Mission Support Services, International Office. The ATO International office is responsible for providing effective, consistent, and well-coordinated leadership and strategic for the ATO to achieve its global strategies of air traffic management harmonization, standardization, advocacy and technical and operational support.

Duties

The management and program analyst serves as analyst and advisor to management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of government programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of the management of Federal agencies or both. This position requires experience and expert knowledge of the substantive nature of agency programs and activities: agency missions, policies, and objectives; management principles and processes; and the analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Designated or Random Drug Testing required.

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/pay band (FV-I, FG/GS-13) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized Experience is defined as:Experience conducting studies of organizations' aviation policy and procedures.Experience identifying and analyzing issues related to international operations and recommending solutions.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history. Errors or omissions may impact your rating or may result in you not being considered.Answer all questions to the best of your ability.
