Duties

This position is assigned to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); Office of Inspector General (OIG); Office of Information Technology (OIT). The incumbent serves as the management analyst assigned to the Assistant Inspector General for Information Technology. In this capacity, the incumbent plans, administers, and coordinates administrative services including budget formulation and execution, financial planning, accounting, procurement and contract administration, human resources management, space and equipment utilization, travel, property and records management, and related administrative support services.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain FAC-COR II certification.

Qualifications

You may qualify for the GS-11 grade level, if you possess: A Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such degree. --OR--- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level performing the following duties: Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Collecting of relevant data from various internal and external sources to aide management in decisions, plans, and organizational strategies;2) Utilizing qualitative and quantitative data methods to analyze trends, identify problems;3) Conducting routine and non-routine data audits to ensure accuracy and relevance of systems; AND4) Gathering statistical data of information for reports, briefings, and publications Evidence of the above specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held.
