Duties
You will have a broad, technical knowledge of facilities construction criteria, shore facilities planning and real estate management.
You will have knowledge of architectural and engineering disciplines to determine interaction and requirements in developing scopes of work reviewing technical contract documents and resolving problems.
You will have the ability to use sound architectural/engineering principles in making decisions or recommending solutions.
You will have knowledge of Real Property practices, management, laws and values.
You will be able to interpret program guidance and adhere to set timelines.
You will have general knowledge of financial procedures, practices, controls and objectives and project funding.
You will have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing effectively with all levels of personnel.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You must possess a valid state driver's license.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
Qualifications
GS-10:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Updating facility planning documents, coordinating with personnel in regards to community development, using various computer tracking programs (e.g. Shore Facilities, Military Construction, GIS); and partnering with officials and personnel in the facility planning processes, researching, formulating projects, and assessing program effectiveness.
GS-09:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with facility planning documents, coordinating with personnel in regards to community development, using various computer tracking programs (e.g. Shore Facilities, Military Construction, GIS); and partnering with officials and personnel in the facility planning processes.
