You will serve as an OPERATIONS DIRECTOR in the Naval Special Warfare Group - ONE; DET Guam, Operations Division of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE UNIT 1.
Duties
You will serve as the Operations Director to the Officer in Charge (OIC) GS-0301-12 for Naval Special Warfare Group One, Detachment Guam (Det Guam).
You will be the primary source of continuity and trusted resident expert for Det Guam and will ensure the Officer in Charge is kept fully informed of upcoming Det-Guam RSOI support to SOF forces within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
You will monitor deployments of Continental United States (CONUS) based NSW forces passing into the INDOPACOM for deployment and training.
You will provide technical oversight in the execution of RSOI support to SOF forces within the INDOPACOM AOR and administrative management to Det Guam staff.
You will conduct supervision of the subordinate NSWG-1 Det Guam staff, develop performance plans, appraise performance, counsels’ employees on their progress in meeting performance requirements and take appropriate action to rectify deficiencies.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.

- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.

Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in the coordination of logistics, materials, maintenance, transportation, and support assets both internal and external to an organization to meet operations, exercise, and training objectives.
Experience in the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, reviewing and evaluating budget requests.
Experience as a Contracting Officer's Representative and Defense Travel System.
Experience with Sensitive Compartmented Information Program and Command's Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities.
GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in the coordination of logistics, materials, maintenance, transportation, and support assets both internal and external to an organization to meet operations, exercise, and training objectives.
Experience in the formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, reviewing and evaluating budget requests.
