Serves as a Program Analyst in the Quality Assurance Team performing a combination of routine, multiple, and varying assignments under the general direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Duties

Applies experience and detailed knowledge to plan and accomplish assignments. Effectively collects and records data/information; conducts research; applies policies and procedures; identifies problems; and assists higher-level and lower-level professionals in day-to-day operations. Demonstrates some independence in planning, organizing, and evaluating activities and resources associated with aircraft record maintenance, retention, and disposal while ensuring Flight Program Operations (AJF) aircraft records and systems are in compliance with FAA regulations and AJF directives. Conducts detailed research for Management and Quality Control personnel and participates in unique projects as assigned by management.

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • One year probationary period may be required.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this FV-G (FG/GS-10/11) position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F (FG/GS-5-9) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes effective communication skills in a variety of situations to include one-on-one situations, as well as, group situations; researching and analyzing problems then making recommendations to managers, supervisors, or team leads based on that research and analysis.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
