The incumbent of this position will work a compflex or flexitime work schedule.
This is a non-supervisory, bargaining unit position.
Duties
The position serves as an Enterprise Architect and is responsible for strategically designing and identifying efficient information technology solutions in support of core organizational functions. The incumbent provides technical expertise and leadership, performs complex application analysis, and design of solutions. The position is involved in a variety of initiatives ranging from planning and technical design. The position is also responsible for producing enterprise and solution design documentation with expert attention to detail. The incumbent combines knowledge of technical architecture and an understanding of business processes to design appropriate solutions.
Qualifications
Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision.
Ability to develop long-term strategic goals, align IT and business strategies, and create roadmaps for organization architectures. **
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and system integration practices.**
Ability to obtain consensus and work with senior leadership in decision-making.**
Ability to evaluate and recommend technology products, services and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
