You will serve as the EEO NW Reasonable Accommodations Supervisor in the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (USPACFLT), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) NW Office of USPACFLT EEO PROGRAM MANAGEMENT.

Duties

You will serve as the senior functional expert in the areas of Reasonable Accommodation and Disability Program. You will provide advice and guidance to others on sensitive and complex issues related to special programs. You will have proactive involvement in identifying, fostering and encouraging non-traditional solutions to problems. You will determine barriers to full employment and engagement of affected groups and provide guidance and assistance in establishing monitoring and feedback procedures. You will ensure compliance and efficiency by recommending policy and process change. You will be responsible for complying with and reporting Reasonable Accommodation data and metrics.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector ensuring widespread compliance of an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program by providing case management services such as providing alternative dispute resolution, program training, or advising others on program regulations to eliminate systemic barriers to employment.
