This position will be assigned to the Air Force Service Center at Port San Antonio, TX.
This is a regular full-time category position with guaranteed 40 hrs per week. Employees appointed to a regular category position are eligible for benefits.
Duties
Develops, integrates, and maintains code to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data interchanges. Performs testing as necessary for workflows for routing and data transformation. Performs data mapping and validation between existing, modified and future applications to ensure efficient and effective electronic translation of data between systems. Maintains coded instructions to control integration program execution, manages system resources, and provides utility services. Assists end users in deciding which processes to automate, creates test scripts, and selects appropriate data elements to ensure agency reporting integrity is not compromised. Executes system integration, data integrity, disaster recovery and business continuity testing and exercises on all responsible systems. Provides enterprise-grade Quality of Service integrated seamlessly with other agency systems. Drafts DODAF related architecture products. Maintains currency and certification through on-line IT E-learning and other DOD provided sources. Incumbent is responsible for all technical programming aspects of the Oracle R12 e-Business Suite. Develops software programs, routines and scripts in support of the Oracle environment. Must be proficient in Oracle SQL, Forms, Reports, XML Reports, Oracle APIs, SQL Tuning, and development platforms such as Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and/or Application Express (APEX). Develops and maintains security procedures to guard against unauthorized intrusion into databases. Supports senior Database Administrators (DBAs) with operational and functional activities of relational databases. Performs other related duties as assigned. Perform and support activities for AF security compliance to include but not limited to actions to support Authority to Operate (ATO). Designs and modifies the integration of tools and/or utilities for reporting and feature enhancements as needed. Reporting integration may include analytics capabilities and reports, data warehouse, but not limited to those capabilities. Feature enhancements may include integration of tools that help users/customers reduce their workload, enhance the access to reports, data or invoice status, but not limited to those capabilities. The design and modification and integration of these tools, utilities or other additional applications will be interoperable and compatible for integration with the AF Services Oracle EBusiness Suite. These tools/applications will include the implementation of IT capabilities on an enterprise lowcode development platform used to develop and deploy web applications on the Oracle platform.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Security + Certification for the duration of employment.
- This position requires that the incumbent be a U.S. Citizen or a Legal U.S. Resident for a minimum of 3 years.
- Per DoDM 8140.03, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate foundational and resident qualification requirements within nine months of assignment.

Qualifying Experience:
Requires extensive development experience in Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) including the development platforms Oracle Application Framework and/or Application Express (APEX). Demonstrated experience with the data integration efforts. Experience with use of the operation and functioning of relational databases, data integration and warehousing techniques using third party integration tools.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Ability to apply problem solving skills to complex software problems.
Ability to function in a teleworking environment utilizing VPN, Zoom, Skype and Team.
Strong knowledge in Oracle EBS RICEFW, OAF and APEX development.
