You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.

Duties

You will Identify financial adjustments to reconcile and ensure account accuracy. You will train personnel regarding budget, accounting, or financial systems. You will coordinate the reporting of cost and performance information in support of an organization. You will lead reviews and analysis of financial processes, account activities, system functionalities, and financial reports. You will collect all information needed to calculate bills receivable for NAVFAC products and services. You will oversee issuance of invoicing process to other DOD tenant commands through various channels. You will update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Managing budgetary data analyses to provide solutions on issues involving the financial management of programs; Using different financial systems to ensure daily tasks are completed; Providing strong communication & leadership to maintain a team atmosphere; Utilizing organizational effectiveness and analytical functions to ensure the work is completed.
