You will serve as a OFFICE MANAGER in the Administrative Division of OFFSECNAV WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will coordinate staff actions, policies, tasking, events, and programs to manage day-to-day execution of action plans by utilizing protocol procedures to meet goals and objectives.
You will apply comprehensive knowledge and understanding of DoD, DON organization, programs, and missions in order to ensure all projects, actions, events and initiatives are integrated and coordinated prior to receipt by the SECNAV.
You will manage procedures, administration, timelines, and correspondence to enhance effective communications across the organization.
You will plan, schedule, and execute command level conferences, briefings, VIP visits, and social events in accordance with protocol regulations.
You will employ a high degree of sensitivity, tactfulness and diplomacy when rejecting work failing to meet quality standards and provide direction and assistance in recommending solutions.
You will establish deadlines for the SECNAV office for the completion of actions and maintain control to ensure proper and timely execution.
You will develop milestones to accomplish critical tasks and identify shortfalls and deficiencies to event management and determine corrective courses of action.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience assisting with developing and executing administrative plans, policies and procedures to provide key technical advice impacting the entire organization
Experience preparing and reviewing a variety of correspondence such as reports, letters, point papers, memorandums employing staff missions and project requirements
Experience providing a variety of administrative support services such as maintaining a calendar/schedule, coordinating meetings/appointments, planning events, and formulating agendas in line with command goals and intent
