About the Position: Perform the full range of unit, intermediate and, as authorized, depot level maintenance on single rotor helicopters powered by turbine engines. This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties

Conduct inspections on rotary wing aircraft and systems. Perform post flight inspections. Adjust oil and fuel pressure, flight controls, power controls, and engine trim. Performs functional tests to ensure proper operation of aircraft.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Pre-employment physical and annual physicals while in position including Pulmonary testing.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
  • Position has been designated Key(2): This position has been identified as being a Key and Mission Essential
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and/or on-call duty hours.
