About the Position: This position is located at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties

Direct and manage assigned personnel in accomplishing the mission and functions of an Aviation Maintenance Company. Apply knowledge of methods, techniques, procedures, planning, tools, and practices of the occupations supervised. Analyze work plans developed by subordinate supervisors and leaders for accomplishment of assigned work. Participate with higher level management and staff organizations in interpreting changing environmental requirements to include work techniques, specification changes, equipment modernization, facility requirements and improved workflow processes. Evaluate work operations and review completed work and administrative requirements to ensure work standards are met.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.

  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays and on call.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
