Duties

Responsible for the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosives (CBRNE) and Protection related planning efforts of the division in support of USARPAC missions. Direct CBRNE planning efforts to support the Joint Staff tasked deliberate planning process. Review regulations issued by higher headquarters to determine impact on CBRNE programs and functions. Provide CBRNE staff oversight and advice when dealing with emergencies or participating in exercises. Participate in major studies and/or projects having an impact on the CBRNE mission, programs, or operations of the command.

  • This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
  • This position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively.
  • The incumbent must be exempted from recall to active duty and will receive training to ensure mission accomplishment of sustaining base operations during mobilization.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with planning efforts and operational planning involving Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosives (CBRNE); and analyzing and developing recommendations to resolve problems regarding operations planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
