Duties

Serve as a Logistics Management Specialist on a weapon system basis by maintaining life cycle cognizance of plans, programs, and schedules of weapon systems. Track major system or product improvement deployments throughout the logistics chain from early notification through final disposition. Manage areas of the logistics program such as the operations and activities related to deployment, Foreign Military Sales, procurement, maintenance, supply, training, storage, transportation of materiel, operation of facilities, and readiness. Technically evaluate from a logistics support standpoint the adequacy of plans and supporting actions to assure interface with total Army program objective.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position which requires Level II certification in the acquisition career field of Life Cycle Logistics within twenty-four months of occupying the position.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.
