You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SERVICE INTERNAL SHOP MANAGER on the Code 970 Management Team of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Duties
You will approve and direct work operations in the execution of project within an assigned zone of work.
You will determine total resource requirements and allocation based on schedules and work sequences.
You will take necessary actions to achieve cost and schedule commitments.
You will initiate or attend meetings concerning work status.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience directing and supervising through the zone managers, first line supervisors and subordinate staff.
Experience verifying all nuclear and non-nuclear productive and support work is accomplished relative to the preservation program.
Experience supervising that all projects adhere to time, cost, technical and quality standards.
