This National Guard position is for a HR Specialist, Position Description Number T5910500 and is part of the New Jersey National Guard Human Resources Office. This is a Title 5 Excepted Service vacancy announcement.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide technical, procedural and evaluative assistance in the area of employee benefits for both Army and Air National Guard organizations.

As a HR SPEC, GS-0201-7, you will:
Qualifications
General Experience:
Experience, education or training which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience using computer and automation systems.
Specialized Experience:
Must have at least 12 months experience, education, or training involving the
administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting basic concepts, principles,
and theories of Human Resources to the unique organizational, management, and
mission requirements.
Education
No Education Requirement or Substitution.
A high school diploma or general education development (GED) diploma is required. An undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university is desired. A graduate degree from an accredited civilian academic college or from an equivalent professional militaryeducation school is optimum
