About the Position: This position will serve as a Office Support Clerk (OA) located at 30th ADA BDE, Fires Center of Excellence, Fort Sill, OK.
Duties
Initiates temporary duty (TDY) travel orders to include preparing travel requests and making necessary travel and hotel reservations.
Prepares and forwards/inputs time and attendance records.
Serves as training coordinator.
Establishes and updates databases.
Routes, controls, and distributes office mail to include electronic mail and other office correspondence.
Types correspondence for higher officials group activities.
Informs supervisors and employees of upcoming training, dates, times, and location.
Produces a variety of documents common to the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to type at least 40 words per minute (WPM).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Relocation (Government Home Sale) Expenses are NOT authorized.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and experience requirements described below. General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as the following: Performs a variety of administrative duties with experience in various automation systems; Greet visitors, answers telephone, screen telephone calls and visitors; and verifies documents.
OR
Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
Generally, an employee may be advanced to this position, if he/she has served in a position no lower than 2 grades below the position being filled within the last 52 weeks.
Education
