Duties
Coordinate the overall implementation of Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) Defense Travel System ( DTS) Program.
Organize, collect, analyze. and present information related to the current and future program workload for TAD Office.
Responsible for the management and administration of all facets of the Travel Office to include the full range of Travel functions for all the staff assigned to the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP) and Branch Medical Clinics.
As the Centrally Billed Account (CBA) Coordinator, process and reconcile and provide information and reports to Navy Medicine West CBA Office of all air transportation charges incurred by the CBA account.
Acts as an alternate Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for NHCP Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program.
Maintain all pertinent records within hierarchy level such as setting up of new accounts, transfer of hierarchy, activating, deactivating of accounts as necessary.
Responsible for the management, administration, and day-to-day operations.
Review, verify, and investigate hierarchy listings for delinquent and fraudulent users, report discrepancies, and keep the Command GTCC APC and Supervisor informed of such.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 13 months. A term position may be extended to a maximum of 8 years depending upon the needs of management.
- This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights based on an overseas tour.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunization.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which include performing a wide variety of administrative such as preparing, processing, and monitoring of Temporary Additional Duty (TAO} and Authorization Orders, researching, compiling, verifying and summarizing data involving government travel and government travel credit card expenses.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS 06).
