You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PASSANGER/OA) in the ???????MCIWEST-MCB G4 LOGISTICS of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will will serve as a military passport acceptance agent for the Camp Pendleton area of operation You will be responsible for all military and civilian no-fee passports, for all branches of service. You will Establishes eligibility for a no-fee passport through the Foreign Clearance Guide and uses Visa Passport Automated System (VPAS) to complete the submission of properly completed DD Form 1056. You will Properly endorses, prepares and assembles passport application packages for submission as mandated by the State Department. You will coordinate complex travel itineraries for military and civilian personnel traveling at government expense on official orders. You will review travel orders to verify entitlements and official authorization for travel.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
• This is a Mission Essential position.
• You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States Class "C" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting, and articulating established procedures & processes identified within the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR); Experience with Government-sponsored Passenger Travel; Experience with counseling DoD Military & Civilian Employees on authorized entitlements as established within the Joint Travel Regulation; Knowledge of the DoD's Passenger Travel Program.
