About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah. This position serves as Capacity Planner, applying a wide variety of production control/capacity planning techniques and methodologies to achieve and maintain production levels within assigned work centers.

Duties

Serves as focal point and technical authority for capacity control information. Makes requests to the process planner for master route updates, and develops and provides alternate routings when they are deemed necessary. Analyzes demonstrated and potential work center capacity levels to determine available and average capacity execution requirements. Acts as a direct communication link to shop production scheduler’s controllers and work center supervisors for all assigned production areas.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
