This position is located in the Organizational Guidance & Planning Team, AJV-A340. The Incumbent is responsible for analysis, development, and implementation of operational projects and studies of major significance to the Directorate's programs. Serves as an advisor and principal assistant on a wide range of personnel matters, including performance management, awards, and various HR-related administrative functions.

Duties

Acts as a liaison between HR and the Directorate to monitor and track personnel actions, ensuring compliance with HRPM policies and the collective bargaining agreements. Provides position management consultation by monitoring hiring activities and staffing levels to meet organizational targets.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-H (FG/GS-12) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes: Experience problem solving, researching, analyzing, and interpreting laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures related to the various functions; Providing comprehensive customer service support on human resources liaison functions, including position management, classification, recruitment and staffing, and workforce planning.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
