This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer, OCRSO. The primary purpose of this position is to provide information and support to Headquarters staff, organizational elements, and other departmental offices on issues affecting the development, implementation, review, and adaptation of the Department's programs. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-13, your typical work assignments may include: Serves as a lead analyst on a wide range of complex program activities requiring development and application of quantitative methods for analyzing of various complex programs. Plans and provides technical expertise to implement programs for compiling information, providing data analytics, and reporting on a wide range of complex programs. Plans and coordinates with stakeholders at various levels across the agency to develop strategies to enhance the data analytics capabilities of the organization. Plan, coordinate, execute, and evaluate the effectiveness of metrics and performance measures overseeing component programs. Qualifications

Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: Serving as an analyst on a wide range of complex program activities requiring development and application of quantitative methods for assessment of complex asset management and mission support programs relating to real property, mobile assets, and/or personal property Knowledge of data analytics principles, applications and techniques for compiling, analyzing, and reporting on program performance; AND Resolving complex planning, evaluation, oversight, and/or resource allocation problems. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. Time-in-grade: Current General Schedule (GS) federal employees, and those that have served in GS positions within the last 52 weeks, must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade, or a combination of the next lower grade level and an equivalent band in the federal service by the closing of this announcement. Note: Current or former Federal employees MUST submit a copy of their SF-50 Form which shows competitive service appointment ("position occupied" block 34 on the SF-50 should show a "1"), tenure group (block 24 should show a 1 or 2), grade, and salary.
