Duties
You will serve as a Precision Strike Mission Planning Analyst in the N3 Operations Division of CMSA PAC, CAMP HM SMITH
HAWAII
You will serve as a subject matter expert on policies, standards, tactics, procedures, software applications and analysis of Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missile and Conventional Prompt Strike and Long Range Hypersonic Weapons.
You will maintain data and navigation products, for deliberate, dynamic time sensitive and post launch (PLE) mission planning necessary.
You will work with weapon system program office engineers, software developers and site contractors- continuously evaluate planning tools and embedded complex models for discrepancies or areas where enhanced research and information is required.
Requirements
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- Shift work, irregular tours of duty, occasional evening/weekend work, and/or extended duty may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Government issued travel credit card.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
GS-13: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience with operational Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missile variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
Experience with all operational CPS/LRHW hypersonic weapon variants, capabilities, flight characteristics and constraints, planning and strike execution.
GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience utilizing TLAM and CPS/LRHW missile guidance systems, propulsion and flight controls. Experience performing route planning strategy and techniques used in tactical low-level terrain following and medium altitude flight environment in both GPS and Non-GPS navigation modes.
Experience with TLAM and CPS/LRHW weapon system and adversary country Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) interactions for attrition/survivability analysis
GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience utilizing national intelligence resources, photogrammetric theory and techniques in measurement and location positioning of imagery objects used in the generation of targets, TERCOM, DSMAC and VUP navigation products.
Experience with Tomahawk Navigational Toolset (TNT) used to exploit imagery, generate target coordinates, construct, and analyze Digital Elevation Matrices (DEMs), DSMAC, and VUP navigation products for mission suitability .
GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience maintaining the development and refinement of quantitative and qualitative techniques supporting the in depth analysis of methods and systems used for TLAM, CPS & LRHW strike mission and navigation product production, distribution and maintenance.
Experience evaluating and providing quality control and certification of strike missions and supporting target and navigations product.
GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience performing independent research and in depth analysis of complex weaponeering data and develops recommendations for operational targeting and weaponeering improvements.
Experience generating briefing materials and presents oral briefings for senior officers

GS-09: SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: master's degree or equivalent graduate degreeor2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree
GS-07: SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements.
