Duties
You will serve as an IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS) - DIRECT HIRE and be responsible for performing systems analysis to ensure fielded capabilities meet operational requirements through Operational Analyses (OAs) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E). This position traces requirements through any solution process until end user capabilities are delivered. In addition, this senior IT Specialist advocates for user requirements to Capability Working Group (CWG) stakeholders by prioritizing program resource needs and articulating current user technology gaps and trends. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert on information systems and services that support operational capabilities.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for the Grade 12, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-11, it must include:
Assist with managing IT projects for an organization; AND
Assist with acquisition strategies for managing complex tasks from inception to award and closure; AND
Provides solutions to customer requirements, applications, and interactive functions; AND
Assist with developing project budget and resource proposals for new systems and the operations and maintenance of production systems; AND
Identifying capability gaps for end-users.
To qualify for the Grade 13, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-12, it must include:
Executing information technology projects from initiation to sustainment to fulfill established requirements that meet specified missions; AND
Managing processes across the information systems/services life cycle to ensure Information Technology capabilities meet current and future organizational and enterprise missions; AND
Developing operational requirements to plan capabilities and propose acquisition methods; AND
Developing project budget and drafting resource proposals for new systems and the operations and maintenance of production systems; AND
Utilizing IT development strategies such as (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps, cloud computing, etc.); AND
Resolving identified capability gaps for end-users.
AND
In addition, to meeting the specialized experience requirement, you must also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
