Duties
This position will support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Nuclear Enterprise Nuclear Logistics Operations Department (NLO), Nuclear Enterprise Directorate (NE).
As a IT SPECIALIST (DATAMGT/ENTARCH) at the GS-2210-12/13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
The Incumbent will serve as the NLO Lead Data Manager and Enterprise Architect subject matter expert supporting the Defense Stockpile Management System (DSMS).
The incumbent will manage, lead, and support a team of Government and Military personnel performing as Database Administrators, system/application developers and enterprise system architects.
The incumbent functional responsibilities will include managing and supporting data management, enterprise architecture, and application development activities necessary to meet nuclear logistics data service requirements.
The incumbent daily tasks includes data management, system design and application development, scheduling work packages, resource allocations, and keeping leadership and management informed, as necessary.
The incumbent serving in this key role will enforce data management and enterprise architecture policies, plans, and procedures and ensure all technical requirements strictly align with DoD, DoE, and DTRA security requirements.

- This position requires occasional travel CONUS or OCONUS at 20%, on military and commercial aircraft. The employee must be willing to comply with each Combatant Command (COCOM) travel medical requirement to include vaccinations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current valid passport.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain an Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification within 6 months of employment.
Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Performing database management for locally developed and other assigned applications
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting database systems and database user interfaces
Designing, writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications that meet technical and functional requirements
Supporting the maintenance of existing applications software and participating in system analysis, testing, and implementation of new or modified application software
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Designing enterprise databases and enterprise architecture to support applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability
Planning and installing upgrades of database management system software to enhance database performance
Developing data models for applications, metadata tables, views, and related database structures
Implementing automated data integration and data transformation (ETL) solutions to meet business requirements
Provide technical support and guidance to junior database administrators or specialists.

Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
