This position serves as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Justice Management Division, Budget Staff, Process Management Group located in Washington, DC. This position would oversee the overall programmatic and business processes and products of the Budget Staff. Provide input to matters of significance to management of the workflow, articulation of content and informational conveyance of financial and budgetary processes.

The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Oversee the overall programmatic and business processes and products of Budget Staff.
Provide management and oversight of Budget Staff processes which have direct impact on the budget management practices.
Establish and communicate effective and efficient business processes for Budget Staff and makes recommendations to the Director and Deputy Director on planning strategies.
Establish timelines for products and processes, including developing and defining deliverables, process owners, deliverables producers, and reviewing and approvals processes that support requirements at the Department level.
Manage the execution of Departmental budget processes to ensure that the deliverables meet or exceed criteria.
Perform a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work in developing, communicating, standardizing, and improving Budget Staff processes that affect all employees of Budget Staff (i.e. budget rollout, formulation, spend plans, etc.).
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

- You may be required to complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supvy Management and Program Analyst at (GS-0343-15), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service, which includes: Developing qualitative or quantitative methods to evaluate budget or financial programs; Developing recommendations to improve effectiveness of budget program processes; Providing management with assessments of financial or budgetary processes, policies, regulations or new government initiatives.
