You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the TEAM SUBMARINE of PEO SSN.
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
Duties
You will serve as the serves International Principle Assistant Program Manager and address a wide variety of interrelated subjects to include financial, contractual, programmatic, or other program office focus areas.
You will execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues and ensure program schedules are met within workforce and fiscal resources.
You will provide long range plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas, and exercise significant judgment and experience to establish priorities.
You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects concerning the development, installation, integration, and testing, relative to the acquisition process.
You will brief senior leadership and makes recommendations based on findings.
You will analyze requirements to develop program reporting including the specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology.
You will recognize the trade-offs necessary to determine the resulting impact in terms of schedule, cost, and performance risks.
You will lead studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects to evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations.
You will prepare coordinated reports, presentations and briefings in support of program actions.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing acquisition lifecycle compliance and program requirements (e.g., cost estimates, schedule, performance reporting, integration, logistics, and budgeting) to execute the product and service objectives in support of combat system efforts.
