Incumbent serves as a Management & Program Analyst within the Aircraft Registration Branch of the Civil Aviation Registry, AFB-711.

Duties

The Management and Program Analyst will analyze and review assigned programs/management functions and identify actual or potential problem areas, trends, accomplishments, issues and practices as it relates to the registry. The Analyst will plan and conduct a variety of program and management studies which involve one or more of the following general areas: program planning, execution and control, and management improvement and control as they relate to the performance and the mission of the Aircraft Registration Branch in a paperless environment.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FG-11 (FV-G) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG-9 (FV-F) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience includes: Experience applying policy and processes associated with the registration and recordation of civil aircraft; experience analyzing findings and making recommendations regarding effectiveness of procedures governing recordation of conveyances and registration of aircraft to achieve program objectives and improvements; experience applying established policies and procedures in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations; and/or analyzing program progress, trends and issues.OREducation Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeOR3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degreeORLL.M., if related.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
