About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Leads a team of journeyman and senior Supply Planners in the validation of supply forecasts, management of excess inventory and consumption plans, backorder reviews, development of get-well plans.
Supports working level commodity reviews by communicating supply plans, highlighting risks, and collaborating on mitigation strategies to minimize impact of any identified gaps.
Coordinates with various stakeholders such as the weapon system team and the systems analysts to maintain complete.
Correct supply material master coding in the ERP system by submitting change requests to the material master cell.
Serves as a point of contact to review supply guidance and policy to provide interpretations and feedback to management officials and other supply specialists.
Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion
Serves as coach and facilitator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Researches, learns, and applies wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and work products.
Leads a team of journeyman and senior Supply Planners in the validation of preparation of Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) budgets.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- One year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires incumbent to meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Experience providing supply chain support within a (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. Experience interpreting guidance to investigate supply chain discrepancies and take appropriate action. Experience preparing briefings both orally and written to brief stakeholders. Experience utilizing supply chain management processes and procedures for lifecycle management.
