You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Battlespace Engineering, Analysis, Simulation, and Test Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will provide analytical and comprehensive operational testing methods using available resources. You will consult with OPTEVFOR (including other services and or partners as needed) on the conduct, research, and analytical methods being feasible from both an operational and economic viewpoint. You will assign tasks for test team. You will lead and mentor journey level analyst, and the work of other analyst (of equivalent or lower pay bands) that are involved performing assigned segments with mission planning, aircrew briefs You will be chairing Test Data Scoring Boards (TDSB); collecting, processing, analyzing, evaluating, reporting, and presenting data and results.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Leading and mentors others; (2) Performing work related to processing, analysis, evaluating and reporting operational test results; (3) Performing work related to Test Data Scoring Boards activities, roles and responsibilities; and (4) Planning missions with aircrew during test events to assist and evaluate aircrew capabilities.
