This position is located in Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic, Integrated Support Command Portsmouth, Facilities Engineering Division, Maintenance Branch, Utilities Group, Electrical Shop in Portsmouth, VA.
Duties
As an Electrical Worker, this position performs electrician work in support of the US Coast Guard (USCG), which involves the repair, alteration, modification, testing, installation and checking of all types of electrical equipment and evaluating circuitry required to power the equipment of USCG shore and ship units. This position is at Facilities Engineering at Base Portsmouth.Being a CG civilian makes you a valuable member of the CG team. Typical work assignment include:

- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
Qualifications
