This position is located in Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Director of Operational Logistics, Base Portsmouth, Naval Engineering Department, Industrial Production Facility in Portsmouth, VA.
Duties
The position provides support of the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Naval Engineering Support Unit, Industrial Operations Division, which includes the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical wiring systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment in industrial, institutional, office, and residential building, and on ships. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Applicant is required to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- The position requires a valid state driver's license.
- This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
